President George W. Bush accepted a resignation of election from John Kerry. This man has accomplished many things for his country (although I will only mention a few). He helped america through the tragedty of the space shuttle crash (I skipped the first on purpose and most of you probably don't remember the one I just mentioned without it's mention as it was brushed aside by a global campaign against an axis of evil (trying to rise fear of Hitler in head dress?)). The other obvious one is spear heading the efforts of the war on terrorism... Sending American soldiers to fight, kill, and die for thier country. And once the efforts were started he then used a slight of hand that few noticed at the time (despite numerous warnings) and attacked the country of Iraq devoting even more sources to the war effort, in fact more than he has at his command. And so this great herald of President George W. Bush, the commander in chief has earned him the pride and admiration of many American people. He even captured the arch vilian in this affair when soldiers from 4th ID 1st Bgd found him in a hole. Did you know the vilian was caught? Did you know that while American soldiers captured Bush's vilian that freshly trained ill equiped Afghani soldiers surround the mountian region of America's Arch Vilian and failed to capture him. Why weren't American soldiers hunting for this vilian? He wasn't a high enough priority for someone to risk American lives to find and prevent from committing another act of terrorism (the most succesful launched against America), but still the people stand with him for after September 11, 2001 the president went to war for the people... Well, he sent soldiers to war for the people even though he had dodged a similar war previously and when there were a full platoon's worth of causualties a day in Iraq there were still no soldiers sent to hunt the one who attacked us. But the people still choose him as the rightful leader for defending us against attack, espeacially those in locations that fell directly under this attack like New York where bush swept by winning 40% of the people... oh and Kerry took 58%, well then in the District of Columbia, the capital of the nation, the people who live politics, and suffered an attack against the head of our nations military, the very thing President Bush "represents" must have made up for it with Kerry only managing to take 90% of the populace... So Bush only got 10% of the vote of the people that live in the same city he's supposed to be living in, except that he didn't. He got 9%, 1% went to Nader. So this great defense of the nation's people, numerous sacrifices for war all made by th... Well he decided to make the sacrifices, but it's not him who pay for them, it's the people. The people he's protecting by sending them to defend themselves. I'm only looking at one side and I have a very narrow focus here, but if only 9% of the people in the capitol of our nation are willing to chance him then how in the hell can the rest of the people recieve information encouraging the majority to vote for him (unlike his first presidential ellection). How?
